Primeval rock terrace location, strong mineral texture, brilliant terroir bouquet. The style designation Emerald® is a brand of the winegrowers' association Vinea Wachau and is used for nuanced wines with a strong character. This classic dry wine is vinified only from highly ripe grapes of our best locations. The eponymous emerald lizards feel particularly at home in the natural stone walls of the Wachau vineyard terraces. On beautiful days, they sunbathe next to the vines and thus became a symbol of Wachau wines with perfect physiological maturity.
